This Christian duo has an anointed blend of Rock, Gospel and Contemporary Christian styles. Former solo recording artist David "Ace" Suggs has been in the music business for years. He has performed and produced many albums; in 2005 "Cover Me" a Contemporary Praise project was released. David knew then that he had a calling from God. Although he knew his purpose, something was still not right. After hooking up with a former group member "Melvin Davison" at Melvin's home Church. David knew that GOD had him there for a reason. Melvin who was singing in the choir sang a solo, and it was during this solo that God told David to sing with Melvin. Melvin who has been developing his vocal skills through local venues and Churches for years had the same feeling. "ABDELRAN" was formed shortly after. ABDEL = "Servant of GOD", and RAN = "Singing, Song, Music, Shout of Joy" in Hebrew. Ace and Mel went back into the studio to re-record the "Cover me" album. The two are now in the studio working on their next album due 2008. ABDELRAN is also setting up a tour Schedule for the later part of the year. Be sure to catch one of the shows coming up.
